Shipping FAQ

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: We will send out your order within 2 business days.
Shipping estimate for local addresses: Orders should arrive within 3 - 5 business days after your order has been sent out.
Shipping estimate for international addresses: Orders should arrive within 5 - 18 business days after your order has been sent out (subject to customs clearance).
Q: How will my international order be shipped?
A: All international orders are shipped by Singapore Post Registered International Mail. Due to the current Covid-19 situation, there may be significant delays for international shipments in and out of Singapore. We seek your understanding.
International orders will be sent as registered articles, so long as the service is available for the country of destination. Deliveries will require a signature upon receipt. We appreciate your understanding if we cannot ship all items as a single parcel due to the physical features of your books. A tracking number will be emailed to you.

Q: What modes of payment do you accept?
A: We currently accept PayPal.
Q: Do you charge GST?
A: We currently charge all deliveries to Singapore addresses at the prevailing Goods and Service Tax rate (7%). The GST amount will be applied at checkout.
We do not charge taxes on international deliveries. However, there may be import taxes based on the customs laws of your country. Please note all import taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
Q: Can I return an item?
A: We ensure all items are in good condition before we pack your order, and therefore we cannot accept refunds or exchanges. If you receive a wrong order, please contact us at sayhello@woodsinthebooks.sg, and we will exchange the item for you with our sincere apologies.
Q: I received a faulty item. How can I exchange it?
A: We take extra care when we pack your order. In the event that your item is damaged during delivery, please contact us at sayhello@woodsinthebooks.sg and we will work out a fair solution.
Q: What is your privacy policy?
A: Your information be used only to process your order and will not be shared with others. You will not be contacted for promotions or announcements unless you sign up for our mailing list.
Q: I’d like to order a large quantity of an item I see in your shop. How do I do that?
A: Email us at sayhello@woodsinthebooks.sg and we’ll get back to you soon!
Q: I want to order a book that isn’t listed in your e-store. Can I order it through Woods in the Books and how long will it take to arrive?
A: Email us with the title of the book and its author, and we will do our best to track down a copy for you! Note: Some books may be out of print, in which case we won’t be able to get it in. After we locate your book, it might take up to two months for the book to arrive at our shop due to Covid-19 restrictions on overseas shipping. Do try to contact us early if you need the book by a specific date.
